How are my results listed?

Once you have entered your search term into StarPlus, the results will automatically be displayed in order of Relevance with the results that best match your search terms at the top of the page. You can change how your results are sorted by selecting a different option from Sorted by drop-down menu:

How can I filter my results?

You can make your searches more effective by using the Show only and Refine My Results options on the left side of the screen:

By selecting the options below Refine My Results you can limit your results to a particular author, date range, topic, library site, language, or resource type (e.g. journal).

When searching ‘Articles and More’ StarPlus will automatically display results with full text online access but you have the option to Expand My Results and Include results without full text online.

By selecting ‘More options’ you can include and exclude multiple options to filter your results:

Each option you choose is listed at the top of your results page and you can return to your full results at any time by clicking the X:
