A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is a four digit number used for the issue of items at self service machines, in all the Library sites.  It is also needed to use some swipe locked doors at the University, especially out of hours.

To get your PIN

Select Account settings from the My services menu in MUSE

  1. Log in with your username and password.
  2. Click option 1.
  3. Click Logout.

Your PIN will be displayed on screen and emailed to your university email address straight away.

To change your PIN

Select Account settings from the My services menu in MUSE

  1. Log in with your username and password.
  2. Click option 2.
  3. Type in and confirm your new PIN.
  4. Click Change
  5. Click Logout.

For security purposes, you should not give your PIN to anyone. If you think someone might know your PIN you should change it immediately.

Chat is available during staffed hours.
