For quick access you can obtain a Temporary Library Card in staffed hours.  Please bring photo ID with you.  We do encourage membership if you are visiting the Library regularly.  External visitors have the option of applying for various types of membership, check out the links below to see details of which membership you are eligible for.

Schools and colleges (including the Widening Participation Programme) SCONUL Access (for students and staff studying at higher education institutions)

 

Applications for library membership are done via the Online Store and you will be required to upload a current passport style photograph.  

Applications may take up to two weeks to process and you will be notified when your card is ready for collection.

You can select the Library site from which to collect your card; please bring proof of your current address.

16/17 years olds will need to bring signed parental/carer consent and proof of date of birth.  SCONUL Access applicants must produce a copy of their SCONUL email.

If you wish to renew your card or you require a replacement because your card has been lost or damaged, please apply via the online store.
