The Information Commons will close at midnight on June 9th, once exams are over, and re-open on September 18th, ready for the new academic year.

The whole building will be closed over the summer so that the contractors can work as quickly as possible to get it ready for the new academic year.

There are 1200 study spaces in The Diamond on Leavygreave Road, which will be open 24/7 over the summer, and there are 730 study spaces in Western Bank Library, which will be open (9am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 6pm Saturday to Sunday) over the summer.

There is more information on how to request material held within the IC over the summer vacation.
