Q. How do I borrow a book?

When you have found books that you want to borrow, or collected requested items, you can issue them using the self-service machines available at all libraries.   

Books cannot be issued to you if you have a block on your library account, such as an item that has been requested by another borrower and recalled.

Borrowed items remain your responsibility until they are returned.
