Children are welcome in all the library siteswe just ask that they are supervised at all times for their safety.

Although the library provides a wide range of electronic resources direct to your desktop, we do understand the need to access the library with your children from time to time.

Please note that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult when visiting the library.

If staff receive any report of children behaving in an unsafe or disruptive manner and this cannot be resolved satisfactorily, the parent/responsible adult may be asked to leave with their child.  This policy is in place primarily to protect the safety of children visiting the library buildings.
