Our computing and IT service, CiCS (Corporate Information & Computing Services) provides a range of software free or at discounted prices to students, staff and departments which they can download onto their own computer. Licensing and access to the software varies for each product. There is a separate list which indicates which software is available to staff and students via the University Managed Desktops.

General software including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint is already available in the Start menu.
If the academic software you require is not in the Start menu you may need to install it from the Software Centre.
