'RBR' stands for 'Rare Book Room'.  These books are held in the reading room located in Special Collections which is housed in the Western Bank Library. These books are reference only and cannot be loaned.

Archives, Rare Books and Special Collections material can be consulted in the Special Collections Department during these times either by appointment or by drop-in readers. They can also be requested at the Level 5 desk at Western Bank Library.

Contact the Special Collections team via email  lib-special@sheffield.ac.uk  or phone (0114) 222-7299
