- You can read eBooks on or off-campus by searching for eBooks on StarPlus. Once you have found the title you want to read, click on 'View It' and then the name of the publisher as shown below.
- Although all our eBooks can be accessed from any device with an internet connection, most eBook platforms have not been optimised for viewing on mobile phones and tablets as they do not automatically re-format the size of the text to fit your device. For the best viewing experience we would therefore recommend accessing our eBooks from a PC or laptop computer.
- For very popular eBooks you may see a message telling you that the eBook is already in use. If this happens don’t panic – the eBook will become available for you to read. Some publishers restrict the number of concurrent users on some titles. Take a quick break and try accessing the eBook again after a few minutes, or join a queue if there is the option.
- To read an eBook it is best to use the read online option. This gives you the opportunity to use functions like adding notes and other functionality only available online.
