We recommend that you access eBooks via the read online option.  This allows you to:

  • Add personal notes.
  • Tag notes to any page of the eBook.
  • View previous notes each time you log in.
  • Access your account from any computer, or multiple devices.

There is no advantage to downloading eBooks unless you are working without an internet connection, as it only offers limited functionality.  Single-user license books cannot usually be downloaded and no licenses allow downloading on to Kindles.

Important note: Adobe Digital Editions - when you first download it you should make an account when prompted. If you don't do this, any books you download can only be accessed on that PC even when using the managed desktop. https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/support/digital-editions.html
