Westlaw and Lexis Library are legal databases, and include legislation, law reports, legal journals and other materials. They add value by linking relevant materials e.g. a law report record will contain links to the relevant legislation and journal articles that discuss the case.

Both databases include up-to-date legislation and the main law reports series, but each one has different full text journals and other content that is unique, e.g: Westlaw includes Insight, a good way to get an overview of a particular legal topic. This includes some content that is not discoverable on StarPlus.

For further information and guidance, please see the library's subject guide for Law and Criminology.
