The library provides online support via our Information and Digital Literacy webpages.

A wide range of Information Skills Workshops are available, and you can view the Information Skills calendar for available dates/times and to book a place.

You can access our 'Discovering' tutorials on these pages. These cover:

  • Successful database searching
  • Using StarPlus to find resources
  • Planning a literature search
  • Database tutorials (including Scopus and Google Scholar)

You can also contact the specific faculty or liaison librarian for your subject area and schedule a one to one appointment, and have a look at your subject guide.

We offer support and guidance at all our library sites during staffed hours, and you can also reach us remotely via email, text, instant chat and phone.

We are here to help you at... The Diamond, Western Bank, Information Commons and our Health Sciences Libraries. Pop in and see us!
