The interface of CNKI that is available to customers outside of China is presented within the University of Sheffield in English, but the language of the interface can be changed into traditional or simplified Chinese using the drop down menu in the top right corner. The majority of the journals are in Chinese.

The Sheffield CNKI subscription is to China Academic Journals Full-text Database with the following journal collections included:
F - Literature / History / Philosophy
G - Politics / Military Affairs / Law
H - Education & Social Sciences
J - Economics & Management
