Q. How can I get online help with study/revision skills?

The Library's Research Skills and Critical Thinking online tutorials, videos and guides will support you in your assessment preparation. They can assist in discovering and organising reading material on StarPlus and databases; using and understanding ebooks and journal articles most effectively; and creating presentations, webpages, and mind maps.

The 301: Academic Skills Centre also offers a range of revision, preparation, and assessment advice. You can also develop your study skills using StudySkills@Sheffield, which includes “how to guides” on preparing for online assessments, as well as wider tips on revision to suit your own learning style.
