We aim to process your request within 2 working days but are unable to guarantee a supply time as this is outside our control.
Documents will be requested from the British Library electronically where possible, to provide a quicker service. Articles delivered electronically normally arrive in 3 days if they are immediately available at the British Library.
Books - You will receive an email asking you to collect your item for loan from the desk on Level Five at Western Bank Library or Health Sciences Library at the Royal Hallamshire. Items will be issued to you by a member of staff. It is not possible to self-issue or self-return inter-library loans. The bookmark that accompanies the loan contains important information about the length of the loan and should be kept with the item whilst in your care.
Journal articles - You will either be sent a photocopy to keep or if you have opted for SED you will receive an email with a link to the article.
