Q. What is the referencing style for my department?

To be absolutely clear on the referencing style you should use for your assignments you should check with the module leader.

Not all departments have a definitive style, and many vary styles depending on discipline or according to the preferences of academics.  There may be further guidance on module pages in Blackboard, course handbooks and departmental websites.

There is comprehensive support for referencing, but the library cannot advise you which style you must use. This is something that should be communicated by your department.
