We only recall items that have been requested by someone else. We need to do this as quickly as possible so that everyone has a chance to use the material they need.
As soon as a requested item on loan to you becomes overdue, your library account will be frozen and you will not be able to borrow any more books until the requested item has been returned. We will still continue to automatically renew other items on your account.
After two weeks, if you have not returned the item we consider that the book is lost and will charge you for a replacement copy plus a non-refundable administration fee.
