We need items that have been requested by someone else. We need to do this as quickly as possible so that everyone has a chance to use the material they need.

As soon as a requested item becomes overdue, your library account will be frozen and you will not be able to borrow any more books until the requested item has been returned. We will still continue to automatically renew other items on your account.
After 2 weeks, if you have not returned the item, we consider that the book is lost and will charge you for a replacement copy plus a non refundable admin fee.

If you have difficulty returning items you have on loan please email library@sheffield.ac.uk.

It's easy to check your Library Account online for up to date information.
