Q. Can I borrow a laptop?

Laptops are currently available for loan at the Information Commons, Level 1 (next to the Library Skills Room), and in The Diamond on level 4. 

You will need your UCard and University PIN to use this service, and the laptop will be issued to your library account for 24 hours.

These devices are available for use inside the library only.

Please note, laptops cannot be issued if you have overdue books on your Library account, and books cannot be issued if you have an overdue laptop. 

Laptop chargers are available to the left of the laptop cabinets. 

If you have any issues with the laptops, please visit the IT Services Desk on Level 1 of the Information Commons; Monday - Friday 10:00 - 16:00 or contact the IT Services Helpdesk.
