We recognise that, as part of your research, you may need to access physical books from Western Bank Library or the Information Commons. Our Books2You Service for Research aims to help you access these resources.

The full details can be found via this webpage which will be updated with all the latest information to support our users.

Initially we have opened this to staff, Postgraduate Research (including White Rose Researchers) and Postgraduate Taught students across all faculties.

We have now extended this to undergraduate students doing research projects in Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, STH members and to students registered with DDSS as having a print disability

We regret that the service is not currently available to the wider student population or external members. We will keep this under regular review and extend access as soon as possible.

Christmas vacation loans will begin on Saturday 5th December and the due date will be 18th January for all items borrowed via Books2You.

If you would like to know more about this service or need support; email library@sheffield.ac.uk or chat with us via our Live Chat service - we are here to help.
