The Garden Room is a space for student wellbeing and relaxation; it is situated on the Ground floor of the Information Commons.
The Garden Room offers students a comfortable, relaxing break from their studies. It also serves to encourage students to take regular study breaks.
We have worked closely with students and taken their suggestions and feedback to inform the furniture choices, resources and layout of the room.
If taking a break from studying in the Information Commons, please remember to use a study break pass when leaving your study space.
We also have Hugimals that you can borrow, to take in the Garden Room or elsewhere within the Information Commons. Please go to the Library Information Desk on Level 0 to pick up one of these furry cuties.
