If you’ve searched for an article and it is not available or you can’t find it, you may be able to locate it via a different route by browsing the journal the article appears in.

  • Ensure you have the full publication details of an article, if you don’t have these you can find them via Google Scholar using the information you do have.
  • You will need the Journal’s title, year, issue number, volume number and page numbers.
  • Start a new search in StarPlus. From the ‘All items’ drop down menu select ‘Journals’ and search for the journal title.
  • If we have access to the journal it will appear in the search result.
  • In the record for the journal you will see options to view the journal either online or in print in the Library.
  • This will include details of the years and issues we have access to.

BrowZine offers an alternative way to browse our subscribed journal content via a mobile device. The BrowZine app is available for download from the Apple or Google stores. There is also a web version (https://browzine.com/libraries/399/subjects). BrowZine is a good way to keep up to date with the latest issues of your preferred journals. However it is not designed for literature searching, for which we would recommend tools such as StarPlus or a literature searching database.
