Use the new traffic light system in University libraries to find the right study space for you. Please be respectful of other library users and the space you use.

🟢 General - Talking is expected

🟡 Quiet - Quiet talking allowed, please leave the space for phone calls

🔴 Silent - No talking, keep phones on silent, leave the room if you need to talk

Find a study space

If you’re being disturbed by noise in the library text “NOISE” and your location to 01952 783 022. If you are studying out of our library staffed hours then do still text as we want to know of any issues, but also have a chat with our friendly facilities assistant in our 24/7 spaces in the Information Commons and The Diamond.

If you feel unsafe in a space please let library staff or facilities staff know, look at installing the SafeZone appUsing the app you can alert University Security Services via your mobile phone if you ever need emergency, first aid or non-urgent help while on campus or in our residences.  Through the app you will also receive mass notifications from the University if there is an incident developing on campus.
