VLeBooks are transitioning away from Adobe Digital Editions, and have released their own dedicated ereader app, VLeBooks App.
This is available on University managed desktops via the Software Center or for personal devices from the VLeBooks site.
To download content from the VLe platform, select the 'Download' option for your chosen eBook.
- Please note: some VLE content may be read online only, and not be available for download.
Select your download length and choose to download to the 'VLe App' from the drop down menu.
On the next screen, if you haven't logged into the app previously, click 'Generate New Access Code'. This code is valid for 48 hours.
Open the app on your device and select 'Continue with Access Code' as your access type. Enter your generated code and select 'Sign in to your Institution'. Please note that a new access code must be generated for each new device you sign into.
Your downloaded content will now be available in the app under 'My Loans'. You can also browse and download further titles directly within the app via the 'Search' function. Downloads are per device.
