We are keen to enable all students to have equal access to library resources. You do not need to explain your disability or even disclose you have one if you have registered with DDSS. A ‘Registered for Additional Support’ card can be provided, simply show this to staff when you ask for assistance. All staff are happy to offer assistance, while​ additional support staff at each of the library sites can help and advise you.

  • Have you included full item details, title, author, year, volume, page numbers etc as this will help us to resolve your query


Accessing an ejournal article or ebook?

  • Check that the library has access to the year that you are looking for.

  • Check if the electronic resource offers full-text or abstracts only.

  • Check the eResources Service Indicators to see if any known problems exist.

  • Check that the ebook isn’t a Review
