Q. How can I get access to Standards? Are they available online?

BSOL (British Standards Online) is the platform for accessing full text BSI British Standards. You can access it by searching for 'British Standards Online' on StarPlus, or by searching for this title on any University webpage, or by browsing the 'Database A-Z' on StarPlus at the top of the page.

Individual Standards are not discoverable by searching StarPlus - you need to search for these on the British Standards Online database.

BSOL includes Pure British Standards, BSI national adoptions of European Standards, BSI national adoptions of selected International Standards from ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).
