If you are not already logged in, you will see the 'log in' option in the top-right hand corner of StarPlus (if you are already logged in, your name will be displayed instead). Please note that if you have accessed StarPlus through the 'My Services' menu in MUSE then you should automatically be logged in.
Click 'log in', and a prompt screen will open with the appropriate links to log in as a University or non-University member.
University members are those with access to MUSE, and will have been given a university username and password when they joined the university. This may be current students, staff, or associate staff. These members should log in to StarPlus using their university username and password, in the same way that they would log on to MUSE or any other university system. If you have forgotten your password please contact or visit the IT Services webpages (formerly CiCS).
Non-university members are those with existing library accounts, but no current record at the University of Sheffield. This may be alumni, external borrowers, STH staff, or SCONUL users from other institutions. These members should log in to StarPlus using their UCard number as a username, and the password that they set up when first collecting their UCard. If you have forgotten your password please contact library staff.
If you have an external reader card you will not be able to log in to StarPlus.
