Q. The item I want is 'in transit'. What does that mean?

Answer

If your results in StarPlus show that an item is in transit it means it is currently in between two library sites. For example, it may be a book held in Western Bank Library that was returned at the Information Commons.

If you have requested the item, and you are first in the queue, then it will be in transit to the site you have asked to collect it from.
