Q. How do I see the progress of my request or cancel it?


Once you have placed a request, you can check its progress and details at any time in the following way:

Log in to StarPlus
Click on your name in the top right hand corner
Click on My Requests 

A list of your current requests will be displayed.

The status of your request will reflect whether the book is ready to collect, if you are in a queue for the book, or if the book is in transit to the request hold shelf for you (in process).


You can also cancel any unwanted requests, by clicking on 'Cancel' next to the cross icon. Alternatively, you can cancel requests by informing the library in person, or by emailing library@sheffield.ac.uk. If you have been notified that the item you requested is ready for collection, you can cancel it by replying to that email with the word 'Cancel'.
