Q. How do I apply for External Library Membership?

Applications for External Library membership are done via an online form and you will be required to upload a recent passport style photograph.  Please see here for memberships that are available.

​Applications may take up to three to five weeks to process. You will be notified when your card is ready for collection, and which items of ID you will need to bring in.  Please see our opening hours.

If you wish to renew your card or you require a replacement because your card has been lost or damaged, please re-apply online.  

If you do not fall into any of the above categories and still wish to borrow, you may apply to become a Fee-Paying External Borrower by paying a subscription.
