Yes you will need to book a space as we currently have a reduced number of learning and study spaces, some with PCs, which must be pre-booked via our online system.

To book a Library learning space or study space on campus, please go to - Resource Bookings, located in MUSE.

Please do not turn up at the library without having pre- booked your learning space.

The Reading Room in Western Bank Library and levels 1 and 2 in the Information Commons will open at the start of term. Further areas will reopen on a phased basis, as soon as it is safe to do so.

To ensure everyone can use the Library safely, please follow the University of Sheffield safety guidelines

You are able to book a time slot for up to 3 hours at any one time. You can arrive at any time within your booked slot to fit around other activities you may have on campus.

The bookable morning and afternoon sessions are available between 9.30am - 12:30pm and 1.30pm - 4:30pm

If you have any questions please email library@sheffield.ac.uk or use our live chat service...we are here to help! You can find more information via our Library Update webpage
